VATICAN CITY, JUL 1, 2005 (VIS) - The Holy Father today received in separate audiences:

 - Ferenc Madl, president of the Republic of Hungary, accompanied by his wife and an entourage.

 - Cardinal Walter Kasper, president of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity.

 - Archbishop Andrea Cordero Lanza di Montezemolo, archpriest of the Pontifical Basilica of St. Paul's Outside-the-Walls.

 - Members of the executive council of the Papal Foundation: Cardinals William Henry Keeler, archbishop of Baltimore, U.S.A., Theodore Edgar McCarrick, archbishop of Washington, U.S.A., Justin Francis Rigali, archbishop of Philadelphia, U.S.A.

- Carl A. Anderson, supreme knight of the Knights of Columbus, accompanied by his wife and by Bishop William Edward Lori of Bridgeport, U.S.A., supreme chaplain of the Knights of  Columbus.

  This evening, he is scheduled to receive in audience Archbishop William Joseph Levada, archbishop emeritus of San Francisco, U.S.A., and prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
